My experience includes 20+ years as an educator and administrator in Texas public Schools. I have a Bachelor's degree in business and a Texas Teacher Certificate from Texas A&M - Commerce, a Master's degree in Educational Administration and a Mid-Management Certificate from the University of North Texas, and a Master's degree in School Counseling. I feel honored to serve the communities at The Ranch Academy because of the unique opportunity to create a supportive environment that allows students to reach their full-potential at their own pace with the guidance and direction of caring professionals.

  • Bree Treadway

Diagnostician / Special Ed / Student Services
    903.939.8000 ×1005

I began my career in education in 2007 and now hold a Master’s degree in Special Education, along with certification as an Educational Diagnostician. I served in various schools for over 11 years before joining Ranch Academy in 2022. I'm proud to be part of the Ranch Academy team. This is a special place—our small class sizes truly allow us to connect with students. We offer credit recovery and a safe, supportive environment for those who may not thrive in a traditional public school setting. It’s a school where every student can belong, and that means a lot to me—both as an educator and as a parent. I married my husband, Todd, in 2002, and we have four children and two granddaughters. One of our children graduated from Ranch Academy, and another currently attends. My connection to this school is both personal and deeply meaningful

  • Kelly White

    Campus Secretary and Registrar
    903.939.8000 ×1001

I've had the pleasure of serving as the Secretary/Registrar at Ranch Academy since 2018. Before joining the Ranch Team, I managed a local boutique for 12 years. I have worked off and on in school settings since 1989 fulfilling various positions in the administrative office. One of my favorite parts of this job is greeting our parents and families-I truly enjoy the fellowship that comes with being part of our close-knit community of staff and students. Ranch Academy is a special place where everyone feels like family. I married my husband, Mo, in 2010. Together, we have 5 daughters, sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. I'm so blessed to have so much Joy that surrounds me! Oh yes and I can't forget our two fur babies. Jaxson and JiJi that keep us entertained and feel like we are raising toddlers once again.

  • John Wilhite

    Director of Operations and Technology
    903.939.8000 ×1007

I began my career in education in 2006 and joined Ranch Academy as a network consultant in 2008. In 2012, I came on full time as Technology Director and have loved being part of the Ranch Academy family ever since. While my day-to-day responsibilities have evolved over the years, I still spend most of my time behind a desk—helping our school thrive. I'm inspired daily by our staff’s genuine care for each student and the life-changing impact we strive to make. Outside of work, I enjoy serving on Christian men’s retreats, flying RC planes, and staying busy with my four amazing school aged kids.

Instructional and Support Staff

  • Tricia Johnson

    Paraprofessional - Art / Electives

My career in education began in 2017 as a paraprofessional. I am currently enrolled in college studying various courses from marketing to photography and sculpting. I feel fortunate to be able to teach electives to these students and strive every day to make each and every one of them feel connected and loved. This school is incredibly unique in the way it serves each family and child in a different way.

From my experience here, I can truly say Ranch Academy is more like a big family where everyone has a purpose and a place. Outside of school, I like to travel with my girlie pops, camping in new places and climbing every rock we can find!

  • Dr Tamara McClure

    Teacher - HS Math

I have taught Elementary through College grade levels across a wide range of subjects including ELAR, Grammar, Social Studies, Math, Science and even Anatomy & Physiology. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a love of learning that reaches beyond the classroom.

Every student at Ranch Academy is met where they are and given the opportunity to learn in an environment that values growth, relationships, and real-world application. I am proud to be part of a team that goes beyond traditional education to support the whole child.

I grew up in San Diego, California, and my life has been richly blessed with four grown children. My husband, a proud Navy veteran, and I share a deep love for family, faith, and serving others. I enjoy spending time outdoors, being with loved ones, and living out my faith in everyday life.

  • Sandra Page

Paraprofessional - MS Math / Spanish / Electives

I’m originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, in South America. I’ve been married since 1994 and have three wonderful children—all college graduates pursuing successful careers. I began working in education in 2009 at another school but made the decision to leave in 2015 because I felt the students were not being prioritized.

In 2016, I joined Ranch Academy, and I’ve loved every moment since. I truly look forward to coming to work each day. Our school feels like a family—we care deeply about our students, even when others might not see it. I’m proud to be the Spanish teacher here, working primarily with our junior high students. Our small class sizes allow for personalized, one-on-one support.

  • Roxanna Posey

    Teacher - Social Studies

I graduated from East Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, though my first love has always been history. Since 1988 I have worked in the education field and started at Ranch Academy when it first opened in 1999. I’ve worked with our students in nearly every subject, but my specialty is Social Studies and History. I enjoy telling young people about those gone long before us.

Originally from Carrollton, Texas, I’ve called the Canton area home since 1981. I have been searching for my family ancestors, which is like playing hide and seek with dead people. I also enjoy horses, reading, art, and am in the process of building a backyard library. Have to have a place for all the history books!

  • Dalton Stewart

Teacher / Special Ed - HS English

  • Scott Storey

    Paraprofessional - Science / PE

  • Lacey Zwick

    Teacher - Special Ed

I began teaching Elementary School in 2013. In the fall of 2024 I had the opportunity to visit and observe classrooms at the Ranch Academy and immediately fell in love with the students and staff here. I noticed that the self-paced, highly motivating curriculum is exactly what learning should be. When I was offered a teaching position here, I knew this is where I was supposed to be.

I live on a 40 acre farm with my husband, since 2006, and our two boys. My oldest graduated in 2025 and is working as an electrician's apprentice in Dallas while also attending journeyman's school at IEC. My youngest graduates High School in 2029, currently plays football and power lifts. We love sports so that's where you will find us most evenings, watching football or powerlifting.
